Mark is a consultant expert in matters relating to compliance to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive and Manager of the ED XRF capabilities at ITA Labs.
Mark graduated from Coventry University with a Degree in Materials Science and an HND in Materials Science.
Mark began his career with Defence Evaluation Research Agency in Farnborough and then moved to Kobe Steel Europe Ltd. He moved to ITRI (ITA Labs) in 1999 to work in the Materials Technology Division, initially on lead-free soldering and the implementation of a polymer laboratory within the group.
Tony has over 30 years’ experience of the tin industry across a variety of tin using applications, including projects investigating fire retardants paper, tin alloy plating, tinplate properties and alternative passivation. He has extensive knowledge of tinplate testing for the packaging industry.
Tony graduated from Brunel University with a degree in Material Science and a PhD in tin oxide films.
Amber joined ITA Labs in 2024 as Laboratory Technician Apprentice through the Tiro apprenticeship scheme. She completed the Level 3 Apprenticeship in October 2025 with Distinction. She is now working towards a 3-year apprenticeship degree.
She is developing hands-on experience and training in a wide range of testing services and is now the lead tester for fire testing services.
Amber has previously completed Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Applied Science.
Libby has been an Accounts Assistant at ITA Labs since 2022, where she has played a key role in streamlining internal processes, including supporting the successful implementation of a new CRM system.
She is responsible for issuing all company invoices and ensuring accuracy in billing and records. Currently completing her AAT Level 4 qualification, Libby brings strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Known for her broad knowledge across systems and operations, she consistently contributes to improving efficiency and supporting team success.
