ITA Labs use a Panalytical Axios mAX WDXRF spectrometer for our WD-XRF Testing Services.
This to carry out Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence testing, which is an analytical technique used to determine the chemical composition of solids and powders. The technique of WD-XRF involves measuring the wavelength and intensity of x-rays emitted by energised atoms in the sample material.
During the process, the WD-XRF will be used for separation, identification and intensity measurement of sample materials x-ray fluorescence.
WD-XRF provides both qualitative and quantitative results, which means the element can be determined, as can the amount of the element.
This technique can be used on a variety of materials including ceramics, minerals, glasses, polymers and metals, over many different industry applications.
The Axios mAX meets the most demanding process control and R&D applications.
If you’re looking for a WD-XRF testing service, ITA Labs’ UK Laboratory is highly experienced and has the expertise to help you interpret the results, whilst providing a reliable service and fast turnaround at very competitive rates.
